Fuel surcharge

From 1.04.2022, all ACE Logistics road transport service quotes will be subject to a fuel surcharge, which will be changed monthly. The fuel surcharge is based on the arithmetical average retail price of diesel fuel in Latvia for the last month in the overview published by the European Commission. The fuel surcharge coefficient (BAF) is calculated taking into account the share of fuel costs in total costs and is the basis for the fuel surcharge for the current month. Please note that the BAF is applied based on the date of collection of the goods.

Due to the conflict in the Middle East and the resulting high volatility in the oil market, the BAF will be adjusted  from 16.03.2026 every two weeks. This is a temporary measure that allows for a more flexible response to changes in fuel prices. As the market situation stabilizes, we will evaluate the possibility of returning to the previous monthly calculation model.
