ACE Logistics continues its steady move toward more environmentally friendly and sustainable logistics. For us, green initiatives are not just buzzwords – we are constantly seeking real ways to reduce the environmental impact of our operations and make everyday logistics more efficient and responsible.
Since mid-April, our first Toyota Proace Max L3H2 electric vans have been serving Tallinn areas. This marks an important step in the development of ACE Logistics’ fleet, bringing greater environmental friendliness and energy efficiency to our services.
The new electric vans are designed specifically with urban logistics needs in mind. The real-world driving range in city conditions is approximately 300 km, while according to the manufacturer, it can reach 356–425 km. This makes the electric van not only an environmentally sustainable solution but also a cost-effective option for urban deliveries.
The vans are mainly charged overnight – at a time when electricity prices are lower. For this purpose, we installed electric vehicle chargers in our office parking lot, supporting smooth day-to-day operations. Additionally, this creates value for our employees – the chargers are also available for their personal electric vehicles during off-hours.
The introduction of electric vans is part of our broader strategy to develop sustainable logistics and reduce our CO₂ footprint. At the moment, we are in a testing phase, during which we evaluate the suitability of electric vans for our daily operations. If the experience proves positive, we plan to expand the fleet and introduce additional electric vehicles.
The new vehicles received fresh decals at the beginning of May. In the cityscape, our new vans are easily recognizable thanks to a green label symbolizing ACE Logistics’ commitment to environmentally friendly and innovative logistics.
We believe the future belongs to smart and green solutions, and we are proud to be part of this change.
