On 16 October 1996, ACE Logistics Group began its journey in Lithuania. Thirty years later, we are celebrating not only three decades of growth and achievement, but also the people, partnerships and shared experiences that have shaped our story.

Over the years, the logistics industry has changed considerably. New technologies, evolving markets and unexpected challenges have transformed the way we work. Through it all, ACE Logistics has continued to grow, adapt and build lasting relationships with customers, partners and colleagues.

One of the most significant milestones in ACE Logistics Lithuania’s  journey has been the opening of its new logistics terminal in Kaunas. After two years of preparation, the terminal welcomed its firstshipment on 2 March 2026. Therefore it was meaningful to celebrate the 30th anniversary at its second location in Lithuania.

A €7 Million Investment in Future Growth

The new logistics center in Kaunas was a €7 million investment – ACE Logistics Group’s largest single infrastructure investment to date. It is the second logistics centre in Lithuania for ACE, alongside its existing Vilnius terminal. Located near the Kaunas Free Economic Zone, the new facility includes a 4,000 m² cargo-handling terminal and 500 m² of office space, with 40 loading ramps designed to accommodate different types of vehicles and shipments.

The new terminal increases ACE Logistics’ cargo-handling capacity and improves freight flows across the Baltics and beyond. Its cross-docking layout enables shipments to be sorted and dispatched quickly, helping reduce transit times, improve service reliability and accommodate growing international transport volumes. The facility also incorporates energy-saving solutions, including LED lighting with smart sensors and heating systems that use energy generated largely from renewable sources.

The first six months in Kaunas have been a period of adaptation, teamwork and growth. Relocating the main activities brought challenges, from adjusting established processes to integrating new colleagues, but the team’s flexibility and commitment helped ensure a smooth transition. The terminal’s thoughtful design and modern equipment supports efficient workflows.

Celebrating the people behind 30 years of success

During the anniversary celebration, ACE Logistics Lithuania’s managing director, Juana Kudarauskienė, highlighted in her speech:

„Our colleagues are the foundation of our success. Their professionalism, commitment and care for our customers have helped shape the company as we are today. We are especially proud of those who have been part of ACE Logistics for many years.

We are equally grateful to our customers and partners, including those who have stood alongside us since the very beginning. Over three decades, business relationships have grown into something deeper: lasting connections built on trust, mutual support and friendship. We thank everyone who has grown with us, believed in us and helped us navigate both challenges and opportunities.

In logistics, we spend our days thinking about routes, destinations and getting things where they need to be. But looking back, one thing is clear: What matters is not only where we have arrived. What matters most is who has travelled with us.”

A congratulatory message from the ACE Logistics Group’s managing director Andres Matkur
